Holly, I'm sort of like Chrissy, I don't like being told what to do. Only kidding. Lord am I "on a roll" right now. Yeeeepi! Actually, maybe someone should ask Ken to ban me. Then all of the forum members troubles would be over.
Well I don't want you Banned , and I'm sure no-one else does either. I like you, you're a good guy, but sometimes you get the bit between your teeth (excuse the pun)..and you just won't let go lol
Well, without making a "goodbye" thread...…...I'm gone. Will be logged out, Avatar gone, Signature gone. Guess that's it. Now can go somewhere where people will understand and believe me. I do have knowledge about certain things that others on this forum don't. IOW, I've got tired off all the "know it all" folks when it pertains to Western stuff and a few other things. Everyone should be happy now. Ken doesn't have to ban me.
When I was younger, I once walked into a classroom and immediately went to the corner and stood in it. All of the other classmates took their seat whilst I remained where I was. The teacher asked me what I thought I was doing so I turned around and told her that I needed the time in the corner to think about not dotting someones eye for calling me a name. She was wise and left me there to reflect until felt like going to my desk. No one said anything about it later and as a matter of fact, the person I was focusing on and I became great friends later on. The moral? Do what you gotta do and do not rely on someone doing it for you.
@Holly Saunders , my pain is the worst starting around 5:00 pm. I'm miserable when I first go to bed, everything hurts. Takes me forever to get comfortable..especially with my pillow and neck position. But after I fall asleep, most of my pain goes away and I wake up pretty pain free. then even sitting in my recliner can make my tailbone and lower back hurt. I need to switch positions often....standing too long is also painful.
Good luck to you, Cody. I hope you find something that works for you. Otherwise, we’ll be here when you’re ready to return.
errrrm...you just did make a goodbye post on another thread lol... see you when you've calmed down again...
I wish I was pain free after a nights' sleep @Chrissy Cross , some mornings I can't stand up without my back going into spasm and I take diazapam as a muscle relaxant before going to bed and sleep with a small pillow between my knees to ease the pressure.. Nothing to do with my bed , it's just that it's ongoing all day every day, and apart from obvious chores that require bending or stretching, sitting for long periods makes it much worse. I've found since I retired and sitting around for hours on end, that my back has worsened. I think I need to take up pilates or something . I'm looking forward t going away because I'll have my pool for a few weeks and I can swim a couple of times a day , that helps a lot..
Swimming really helps me, too, @Holly Saunders . Not only is the exercise good, but just being in the water always helps me to feel better. Guess that is because I am a “Sea-goat”, maybe.
i take half a Xanax sometimes before bed and that helps....maybe just because it puts me to sleep. I have a long pillow that is long enough to put between my knees...does help!!
Oh yes I'm the same @Yvonne Smith , I'm happiest in the water. I wish we had the space for a pool here at this house..or even the weather to make a pool worthwhile but we have neither *sigh*
Good evening all it's been a busy day for me so I am having an early night, the one room is coming on nicely a photo below. Lisa discovered some lily of the valley growing in a corner of the garden under some trees, she has never had any before, in fact Russians never have them in their gardens, they only grow wild in the woods here. The house is full of lilac Lisa has picked from the garden, and the scent is everywhere .......... lovely Have a great weekend....
