Got New Boots And Shoes!

After a long wait, finally found me boots and a pair of shoes, its me feet ya know,
I'm a martyr to them.
The other problem for the boots is, me legs are on the skinny side and the opening at the top
is too wide ! Would let a lot of rainwater in for sure
Too many times I order things only to send them back, which I don't like the bother of
but has to be done. Things look so much better on the website, don't ya think ...........?

Good for you... I have the opposite problem with knee length boots. Having been an athlete in my youth I have really wide calf's so it's hard for me to get boots to fit me without having to pay a fortune for them.

You're right tho' things do look so much better on a website, which is why except for slippers, and sketchers trainers, I don't buy boots or shoes online..

Thanks Chrissy, there is an advantage ordering online you can take your time and walk about on the carpet for a while

 

I could not buy clothing online at all. Especially shoes, me and the hubby have wide feet with issues,mainly him.
@Patsy Faye , maybe roll up a sock or to and stuff it around the top of the boot

@Ken Anderson - you are so right about men's pants and shirts, we have to buy 'mainly' on line though
as there's not much choice in the shops nearby.

 

Exactly what I have done Gloria. I wore the boots this morning, nice and warm
I have a pair of socks with no foot that you position at the top, fills in the space nicely.
Some boots are like 'buckets' at the top to catch all the rainwater

 

Do you wear your jeans inside your boots Patsy...if you don't wear jeans try footless tights or leggings..

 

I do wear leggings, the boots are still a bit loose at the top so the sock idea works nice
