    I'm not very good at gardening. Live in an apartment but I have some pots and potting soil. Right now I just have succulents on my patio.

    Today at Trader Joe's they had little miniature roses. I considered buying one and wondered how it would do in a pot. Also I saw flower seeds at another store and wondered if those would work in a pot. I only get sun on my patio until about 1pm and don't even know if that would be enough for these plants. I'm sure my succulents would like more sun, but this is all they have.

    I also considered buying one of those the other day @Kitty Carmel ..had it in my basket but then changed my mind.

    I bought one 14 yrs ago on the anniversary of my husband's death and planted it out front...that rose has thrived all this time while others have died.

    It's become a huge bush....right now it's cut back for winter but I have posted pics of it on here.

    @Chrissy Cross , I don't see your picture. :confused:

    @Kitty Carmel , some plants will grow well in pots. I'm thinking petunias and portalacas (sp) , I usually call them moss roses because I'm never sure I spell portalacas correctly. They look like little roses as they open. I'm sure there are others but I have experience with those two. I don't know about miniature roses but regular roses need lots of sun.

    This was at Christmas because I see the wreath on my door. This was a tiny teacup rose from Trader Joe's.

    Maybe I will get another one.....

    Oh that's such a pretty rose bush @Chrissy Cross That was the color I was looking at. Maybe not enough sun for them where I live now. Interesting how the color changed.
