Maybe Haiti or the Demonian Republic could serve as a halfway house for a period of time then maybe Canada would relent. Just speculating.
My wife is Dominican and we have two children and she was refused a visa. Canada stinks if you want to come in legally. But if you just cross the boarder with no papers its OK
I was back there about 5 years ago my wife and children were with me she finally got that visa then. I have not been back since and hopefully no reason to go back. I have my life here now and can afford to live well if I returned to Canada I would have to find a job because my pension is not enough to live on. Canada has changed so much that I would not like to go back anyways.
