Finished watching The Glass Castle, enjoyed that. Not their lives but the movie.

Maybe I'll watch Terry's other recommendation. Which would you say is the better movie @Terry Page ?

In my opinion "The Glass Castle" is the best @Chrissy Cross possibly because it's based on a true story, the movie seems to closely follow the book but of course as always the book has more detail. I guess it's usually best to see the movie first to avoid being disappointed by the comparison.

Sorry the other movie isn't available yet, you will have to go on a flight somewhere to get a free inflight viewing [IMG]

Another movie I watched on a flight earlier in the year I really loved was "A Sense of an Ending", in fact on coming home I bought and read the book which the movie has adapted well. It's very English, quiet and subtle and not everyone's cup of tea, but it does deal well with the area of how inaccurate our memories of past events can be.
It should be on Amazon or Netflix by now .....

Yes she is @May Benot and brilliant in this movie [IMG] the swearing goes over my head to be honest @Shirley Martin, it's part of daily life to many and without it, a lot of the impact of the movie would have been lost, but I accept it can be disturbing when every other word is a profanity..
The trailer as I said before exaggerates certain aspects of the film, there are many tender human moments in it with no cussing...
