OK....... Its now 7:30am and I have trouble sleeping.. We are getting up early today as we are leaving for Sudbury for the operation.. Don't ask, but Annmarie is sound asleep.. Guess I am more nervous than she is.. This will be the last post before I come back on here to give an update on her condition.. I am taking her laptop to the hotel in order to keep posting.. TV is lousy anyway... Byeeeee for now....

Well, we made it to the hotel.. We ran into a snow storm on the way in, but it wasn't a bad one.. Snow tonight overnight, about 25cms, and we are entering into a cold snap with temperatures dipping down to the -32c mark.... Tomorrow we are up at 5:00am as Annmarie has to be at the hospital for 6:00am... Operation is scheduled for 8:00am... I will keep you posted as soon as I know how she is...
Hey it’s my second Forum birthday today ..... so everyone has been putting up,with me in here for two years ..that time had flown by really quick
OK... Annmarie is In the hospital and hopefully awaiting her surgery.. I brought her to the hospital at 6:00am and stayed with her as long as they allowed me to be there.. I am back in the hotel room and will await the phone call from the hospital when she is in her room... NOW.... Here in Sudbury, we are under an extreme snow storm warning.. Overnight at least 12 inches of snow fell and the winds were something else.. As I write this at just after 11:00am, it is still snowing and windy.. Good thing I have a car that is good in the snow with 4 studded snow tires and traction control..
I just came back from seeing Annmarie.. She has her leg in plaster and it is elevated using pillows.. She is in NO pain at all, so far.. She had an epidural for the operation.. She is wide awake and coherent.. I will see her again tomorrow and let you know how she is doing....
I just found out that she has a phone next to her bed.. I can call her anytime as well as she can call me at the hotel... Wonderful !!!

When I went to see her today, she was sitting up in a chair and looking much better.. I told her I was on here keeping her condition up to date with the members.. She asked about the Seniors Club if anyone said something and I told her that many of the friends on here have expressed their wishes.. She was touched and wanted me to thank you for those wishes.....
Glad to hear Annmarie’s opp is over and she’s recovering well Steve ,here’s a pretty bunch of flowers for you to take to the hospital for her
