The 11 Nations of the United States An interesting essay about regional differences in the U.S. The case is made or attempted to divide the country into 11 nations and how those divisions are impacting the U.S. as a whole. The premise of the United States and its constitution was the recogntion of differences between 50 nations (states). Failure to recognize that little bit of history is likely why many people are distraught over their ideology not being more widely supported. Which then translates to a "divisive" nation in their minds.
