On the nights with a full moon, the Snow Fairy comes and dances in @Steve North 's yard by the light of the moon.

She loves the fragrance of Steve's Snow Flowers growing beneath the snow. Just before sunup, she breathes on the snow to thaw out a spot to see them. Then she picks one to take back home with her.

We don’t get enough snow to bury the snowflowers down here in the South, @Steve North , and you yourself said that they need that deep snow cover to be able to bloom underneath all winter long.
Here they would only get maybe an ince of snow once or twice a year, and would never be able to get tall enough under snowdrifts to bloom.
It is wonderful that you go to all of that gardening effort each year, and maybe when your snow is several feet deep, you can take a picture and post it, and we will all know that somewhere under all of that snow, your snowflowers are busy blooming.

@Steve North , I love your snow flowers. I think they are a delightful fantasy. I hope you get a chance to see the Snow Fairy dancing on your lawn. But, first, you have to suspend disbelief. You have to believe in magic. Disbelievers never get to see Snow Fairies or Snow flowers. :D

My snow flowers are all gone.. We had some snow but it has been warm lately and the snow melted taking the flowers with it..
They will come back as soon as we get more snow that will last.....
