Yes but it's not all boiled up together and has condensed milk in it which will thicken it, you may like ordinary chai as its the consistency of water, but it is very sweet.
I love sweetened condensed milk on it'd own out of the tin, or at least I used to but it is amazingly sweet. ;)

Diane's Chai tea recipe has milk in it, Terry. I don't like tea wether it's Chai or Thai. :)

Will have iced tea on occasion when in a restaurant instead of just plain water though.

Yes it would be too sweet for you I think, it doesn't taste of milk or tea or anything but spices and sugar lol

Is this the one called "bubble tea" with the tapioca in it?

While googling Bubble tea something I've never heard of I've come across quite a few tea places near me and also came across grass jelly. One thing leads to another on this tea thread, seems I'm learning about some interesting things. To me, tea was just tea. I knew there was black and green and a few other varieties but I just never bothered with it. I have a huge box of green tea from sitting in my pantry, probably expired.

I enjoy hot tea in the cooler weather, and I like chai tea latte either hot or iced. Mostly, I just make my own at home, and it is just hot tea, spices, milk/cream, and sweetener.
Today, it has been cooler, and I thought that a hot cup of tea would be nice to have. I made the tea, and then used some of my fresh homemade almond milk, added a spoonful of coconut oil and some spices, part of the hot tea, and blended it in the Ninja cup blender. Once it was blended really well, then I poured in more hot tea, and it is smooth and creamy on top like a latte is.
It is very filling, and delicious, too.

The last time we went to the Asian food market, I got a little tin of jasmine tea. It is an interesting flavor and I am still trying to decide whether I like it or not. I can smell the jasmine when I brew the tea, and I love the smell of jasmine flowers; but it seems like an odd combination of the flower fragrance and the tea taste.
Does anyone else drink jasmine tea, and if you do , how do you fix it ?

I like the Bolthouse stuff, but I wish it were a little less sweet. When I lived in Anaheim, I would eat at a Thai restaurant sometimes and they served a tea that was very good. A long time went by between the last time I was there and the first time I tried Chai Tea, so I don't know how similar it was. It was a surprise to me the first time I ordered it, because I had simply ordered tea. I suppose it was Thai Tea. But what do I know; I don't even know Tai Chi.

I often get the hot chai tea from Dunkin Donuts, and I order chai tea bags to make at home sometimes. These are much different than the iced tea from the Thai restaurant and the Bolthouse stuff, but I like both.

For some reason, I have been craving tea more so than coffee recently. At first it was just a cup later in the afternoon or evening when it was getting cold, but then I started having hot tea in the morning , too.
If I feel like coffee, then I have morning coffee, but if I feel like tea instead, then I do that.
Yesterday, I went though all of my various teas, and put them in a clear container so that I can see which ones I want to choose , instead of just regular black tea, or the Earl Grey kind that I just bought on Amazon.
Today, I added more spices to my morning tea, and then looked online for an easy chai tea recipe, and that is what I am having this morning. I should have added the spices earlier in the process so that they steeped into the tea better; but even adding them after brewing my tea, it is still a delicious aroma and flavor.
