A few days a week, I have 2 eggs/fried, a chopped up potato (as hash browns), couple of sausage links, 2 toast/butter only, 1/2 glass of milk and some water to take my daily vitamin and supplements with. Oh, can't forget my 1 cup of coffee w/cream and packet of Splenda.

Other week days I have a bowl of Frosted Mini-Shredded Wheat or bowl of Golden Grahams cereal.

Weekends is generally breakfast out. Ham/Cheese omelet, pancakes or biscuits/sausage gravy and, of course, at least one cup of coffee. Sometimes we will hit our local buffet for breakfast. At that place, I load up with hash browns, bacon, ham, and scrambled eggs.

At home, I don't drink coffee all day, like some folks our age do. My step-parents did and so does my SIL. I would be so "buzzed" all day, if I did.

I am still working on getting all of the drugs flushed out of my system from the hospital trip this weekend, so I have been mainly having light foods. I am having a fresh peach and some plain yogurt.
Breakfast varies for me, too. when we are going to the fitness center, I usually eat part of a protein bar, or something very light. Then I have a salad or even a sandwich occasionally, although I don't eat much bread anymore.
My favorite breakfast is bran muffins , coffee, and fresh fruit. When I traveled for selling insurance, sometimes the motels would have a complimentary breakfast, and they sometimes had the bran muffins and some kind of fresh fruit.

My favorite breakfast is a protein one with eggs etc but the fiber one cereal has worked miracles on my constipation problem.

Breakfast varies for me every day, simply because I have to take meds on an empty stomah and wait at least an hour before I can eat anything, so usually it's brunch...

Every other day I eat, either oatibix ..or oatibix flakes with skimmed milk... sometimes with chopped banana or raisins in it...

Other days I have wholemeal toast and marmalade...and other days bacon & egg or a variation ..or warm croissant and organic butter..

Today I had brunch quite late so I was hungry so I had a bowl of oatibix and sliced banana followed by grilled potato cake, with egg and black (blood) pudding

My favorite is black puddin, kippers and poached eggs on muffin followed with treacle and maybe clotted cream and scones with coffee.

I hate kippers...too many bones, but I often have poached eggs and smoked haddock on a muffin for brekkie a variation of eggs benedict..

Re "scones and clotted cream.." I skip breakfast (Rather plebeian time to eat as I'm out on the patio with coffee and the papers, and our Maltese and Scottie dogs) and so I have brunch anywhere from noon to around two.
OTOH they suit any time of day I find.

The 'Royal York' in Toronto serves alternating morning breakfast/brunch. One day poached with muffins and rasher of bacon, sausage, ham
Alternatively smoked haddock -scrambled egg and rasher of bacon, sausage, ham.

The Prince Hotel, last I was there had a brunch to die for. If it wasn't there, ask.

Actually, depends on how much weight you might gain. Currently, is your weight and height coordinated? Are you too thin or just right?
    Just wondering.

    I'm 5'4" and about 128 lbs....just right.

    I give myself a window between 125-135.

If I go under or over I adjust.
