    St.Petersburg is blessed with a restaurant on every corner, there are nearly 9,000 on TripAdvisor alone. We would need several lifetimes to visit them all, but lately we have found a local one a couple of hundred yards away that serves excellent Georgian food, our favourite, and has a good atmosphere with very friendly staff. We have become regulars over the past couple of years and go once a week on average. It's good value at less than $20 total for both of us including drinks.

    Here are a few photos of the place and the food, because the Russian culture does not have popular Christmas songs, the background music at the moment is all familiar songs from the UK and the US.........it's a good place for people watching as well.....

    @Patsy Faye
    What-er-ya sayin'? You can't cook? Heck, even I can do that, after a fashion. Though no one other than me partakes!

    Great pictures, @Terry Page . I really like the one with the long haired gentleman sipping his wine. He looks like he might be a learned sage considering the wisdom of the ages. Perhaps Merlin? :D
