    Big Button Cell Phones

Not everyone has the fingers of a professional typist, nor her sight. When people have difficulty pressing or seeing the numbers in a cell phone, these phones with big buttons can provide the required format to mitigate it.

    Amplified telephones

Specially designed to help people with hearing problems. This type of phone helps users to avoid asking 'what did you say' over and over. It may be the phone giving you the joy of talking to your loved ones on the telephone again.

    Single-button cell phone

It doesn't get easier to operate than this. The single-button cell phone calls home or an emergency number at the press of a button while sending current GPS location via email.

I think we will slowly move further away from numbers anyway. Just as back in the 80s a web site had to be found by typing in a series of numbers and dots (IP Address), but now has a nice name - and links that take us directly there, people will have "follow me" ids that will link to any device. Concept is simple - you have an ID card with an RFID chip on it. Your mobile phone will be paired with it - as will your home phone if you need one - and you computer/tablet/laptop/alarm system/fridge/car/et al - someone needs you they request you by name if you are "listed" or via a gallery/voice search - "Call John B." or "Show gallery"...scroll...tap on photo. If you are at home, your home phone rings - if at work the work phone - or the car - or the home entertainments system - or whatever. Numbers will be hidden and not geographical - they will just be IPV6 IP Addresses.

I have seen the larger numbers on the phones which does helps when you have trouble looking at the smaller numbers. I purchased a large screen note so that I can see the numbers better to text which I am not that good at all.

Thanks for posting this... One of my friends has been talking about how her mother can't hear her on the phone any more and how frustrating it is to try to talk to her when she calls... I think it's time she gets her an amplified phone to cut down on the frustration.
