Horrific Story Of A Kidnapping Of A Vulnerable Man And His Child

This story is in the media today of an alleged Kidnapping of a vulnerable man , and his child by a couple who kept him a virtual prisoner in their basement in Canada... and took his child as their own...as well as stealing his monthly disability cheque for 25 years


it doesn't make pleasant reading...


An Ontario couple imprisoned a homeless man in their basement for almost 25 years and claimed his newborn baby as their own while subjecting him to routine abuse, including savage beatings and neglect, it was alleged on Saturday.

Gary Willett Sr and his wife, Maria, face charges of forcible confinement, assault, theft, and abduction of a child under the age of 14.

How horrible. It's amazing he seems to be as intact as he is after enduring that.

 

There are so many sick stories out there, I read one almost every day...what's wrong with people??

 

I wish I knew...

It's not as tho' there's not been abuse forever...and people say it's because we hear more of it through the media than we ever did before and there was just as much back in the day....but I don't believe that, I really think there's much more abuse and horror going on than we've ever known in say at least the last 100 years.... for example
