The Google Fiber people came down our street a while back and cut a 1"
trench in the street to lay the fiber in.

Now the 'visits' begin. Teams of people knocking on doors to get you to
sign up when they are finished the install.

We have been lucky with Comcast and I just got the Xfinity app on all our
devices ( phones, tablets, etc. ) so we can watch live shows or what we have recorded.

We average 100mbs at home and their are 'hotspots' everywhere we go in Nashville.
Probably won't switch unless something serious changes.

But it's nice to have competition, might improve the prices overall.

Your service averages 100 Megabytes per Second, is that how I read it? How much does such speed cost? There is only one Provider Service available to us here using land-line DSL, which is supposed to be fast, but fast to us amounts to less than 1 MB/S and that costs $70 per month.

Google is offering 100 mbs in our area for $ 48.00.
    That seems pretty good.
Not sure what they want for TV bundle.

Have you measured the speed. 100 mbs suggests being able to download, say, a hundred images per second. Astonishingly fast.
