I watched 2 films on Netflix yesterday that weren't gentle at all. :)

    The Bad Batch ...

    The Bar...

I don't recommend them for any gentle souls on here...but they were good, had to look a way once or twice, lol.

I'm half way through your recommendation @Jeff Tracy ....yes, a nice gentle movie after the ones Ive watched. :)

    Will finish tonight.

Had to look up how old Robert Redford was....he moved so slowly.

Also, noticed the boy that plays Jane Fonda's grandson is Lian Armitage...the boy that plays "Young Sheldon".

    Small world! :)

He's much cuter looking in Young Sheldon...guess because he's the star in that show.

In the movie, he's cute but doesn't stand out as much. I didn't realize it was him until they got the dog.

I wanted a different ending, it wasn't a bad ending but not how I envisioned it.

I liked the open type ending, they obviously start a new chapter on the new phones ... the next step would be that he sells his house too and moves to her area.
Make your own ending ......... or perhaps they will do a follow up film if this one does well.

I think we have watched two, maybe three Netflix movies this year. At ninety-six bucks a year, that's only about thirty- two bucks a movie. Today we discussed cancelling Netflix, but the lady of the house suggested it was only $7.99 a month, why don't we let it ride for a while. I said it sounded good to me either way. So, I suppose we'll keep it another year.

I didn't like the way it ended either, no way no how. I wanted immediate closure not the hope of. not the hope of. But it was a gentle film for gentle souls.
