Is anyone here using Bing Rewards? I have gotten 8$ worth of Amazon gift cards so far, and I am only using one account, which is my son's (he gave it to me because he doesn't have time for this).

For those who don't know, you need to be from the USA (but you can also use a VPN) and be signed into Bing with a Microsoft account. Then, you get 15 points each day for searching with Bing on your PC, and another 10 for searching on your mobile phone.

The rewards are in gift cards and sweepstakes entries. When you meet certain requirements, you aquire gold status, which means that the prices of the rewards are 10% lower.

For anyone interested in joining, here's the link with my referral : https://www.bing.com/explore/reward...AW&rrid=_e24480a3-e2a9-9ca7-731e-f6f5b83a8e5a

I was really sad to see, people from Canada couldn't join Bing Rewards. A few months ago, I kept hearing what a great way it was to get gift cards, so finally took the plunge. Of course the people advertising didn't tell me, Canadians couldn't join. I was quite disheartened. Its funny because I live one mile across the border from the United States but in situations like this I feel like I'm a million miles away. Hope it continues to be a great rewards site for you :)

I search for a living pretty much, and have been using Bing as my primary search for quite a while. It is as good, or better, than Google, and definitely better than the rest, and I've earned a few hundred dollars worth of Amazon.com gift cards. There are other gift cards that can be opted for as well, but I use Amazon.com all the time, so those are the ones I go for.

Yes, I use it every day. I cash out with "swagbucks" which I then use to get a paypal payment, so in essence I get cash for it. It's so simple, it takes me less than 5 minutes a day and I get $7.50 - $10 a month, depending on how many "double" days they have. Last year, at least every couple of weeks they would have a day or two where you could earn double rewards, but they haven't been doing that lately. I hope it doesn't mean that they're getting ready to do away with it. :(

You can use a VPN, which is how I got through with it. I use the Hola Unblocker extension for Chrome, but I make sure to disable it when I'm not using it, as I heard it can create some security issues. You will need, however, the help of a friend from the US when you will want to cash out the first time. They will need to give you their phone number and then the code they will get through a text message.

Bing- search engine similar to Google- has finally brought back Amazon gift cards in their rewards section!!! :):):):p

Thought I'd pass this info along, in case anyone hasn't seen it!!

I'd already saved up enough credits to order two books. I am happy. :)

I don't do any rewards but I do like Bing for image searches and have started using them more than Google for that.

I try to use Bing for searches when I remember to, but I think they upped the points you need for a gift card. I used to think I was close to getting one, but I do not think I am close anymore. Bing used to have games you could play to earn points that translated into air miles. I had quite a few and then
they stopped doing that.! I lost all my points. Sniff, sniff. Oh well, easy come, easy go I guess!

I too have bing rewards and have gotten a lot of amazon gift cards. Recently bing has changed to getting codes over the phone or your mobile phone and then getting your rewards. When I first started with bing rewards it was just a code in the email and copy paste to get your amazon gift card. I use the library internet computers only and borrow their netbook so it's going to be a while to get my bing rewards for the code comes to my phone and I got to be able to put in the code right away, so I have to have a netbook borrowed. Netbook from the library is very popular, so it'll be a while to get my rewards.

I already heard that sometime last year but I didn't have the luxury of time to check. Besides, I don't do much searches and I don't intend to make a search just to earn points. Besides, as you said, Bing Rewards are for US residents only. I think that rewards system of Bing is to acquire more users as a direct competition with Google. It may be still early to tell but if Bing Rewards would be a global trending issue then I guess it can give Google a run for its money.

By the way, we are enrolled in Adsense which earns for us $100 every 2 years for the hits that our blogs get and not also the youtube videos. We consider it passive income.

I am on Bing rewards but I haven't earned a gift card. I usually end up searching with google because that is what pops first. I do have several hundred points on Bing but I have to remember to use the search as I mentioned. it isn't my default, so I have to wait awhile to cash in on them. I think they changed their point system too. I think you used to be able to get a card for 450 points and now it is higher. Oh well, I mean what are you going to do?

I'm not sure I've used Bing for image searches, but I'll try that in the future. One thing I have noticed is that they have a really pretty image on the main page every day. I enjoy seeing their pretty pictures, and it entices me back to see what they've got the next day.

That settles it. Bing wished me a Happy Birthday, and Google didn't.

That's odd to find Bing down. That's Microsoft.
