March 23, 2016 But they still suck Gregory hated the name Gregory. Ralph hated the name Ralph. They thought about what to do. Morning disc jockeys? Evil henchmen? No. They’d fight crime together. Until they were framed for burglary. So they said. But, they never went to prison, and thus, they were never teased for their names.
Second Thoughts He stood on the edge. This was his moment. Fear would soon be gone. Pain, anxieties would no longer exist. This was the end. He stepped off. Plummeted into exhilaration and happiness. Yes, some would call him a coward. Most would understand. Wouldn’t they? But, what if … wait! No!
Oh those are some interesting and innovative indeas and short stories for sure. I don't think I am going to take part in the competition though. My brain is tired and my mood is kind of like the weather outside, overcast and gloomy. However, I do like what has been presented already. It seems really interesting.!
I'm not going to enter the competition either - I think it's too late anyway. I did enjoy the challenge of writing a complete story in exactly 50 words; It went through many revisions!
You inspired me Bill. I am not a story teller kind of feller. I do not speak softly, as I am more of a yeller! All kinds make tracks through my life’s trail, to no avail. I scout the trail every day and rake the path anew, only to avoid a story or two.
