    @Holly Saunders
Hi Holly - I've had a look and asked Fabs to check the colours - big mistake - can't decide
Will return to the site tomorrow when we've come to a mutual understanding :p

Might be an idea to order just pillowcases first, 'cos when he read the word 'silky' he says 'I don't want silky sheets, I'll slide off'
'They're not silk' says I 'they just feel nice and smooth'
So obviously a bit more discussion needed :p
Thank you me darlin' for helping me x

I wrote an article one time on Bamboo pillows. I thought it was something bizarre, but apparently it is all the rage now. They are supposed to provide a good night's sleep. I think they are hypoallergenic and can be good for those with orthopedic or nerve problems of some type as well. They might be marvelous, but I am not paying 50 to 100 dollars for a pillow, sorry. I have a cooling pillow I use now, it is good in the summer when it becomes so hot and humid.

I have tried them all - except Bamboo, I think Tencil is similar, which I've tried
I have come to the realisation there is 'nothing' available to cool me down
I have 'severe' nerve damage, which results in severe burning sensation with pins and needles
    everything I have tried, I heat up within 2 - 3 minutes !
    Its totally unbearable :(

I agree with @K E Gordon too expensive for me too but again while I am trying to find a pillow that will help alleviate discomfort from my bursitis I might consider bamboo pillows for its cooling factor. Not

That's what I was wondering about if these bamboo pillows alleviates bursitis...but at a good price please. I like cool nights with temps in the lower 70's too. I wonder if chiropractors can heal bursitis? Bamboo pillow commercials seem real good though. Thanks for letting us know about the amazon prices!!

Today, we went to the liquidation store, and they had the bamboo pillows for $20 each; so we splurged and bought two of them.
Our pillows are not only the cheapest walmart pillows; but very old, and were due to be replaced, and these felt oh-so- good , so we are going to try them out and will let everyone know how we like them.
They have got to be better than the ones we have been sleeping on, and they should last a long time; so hopefully, it will be a good investment for us.

Here is my update on the bamboo-covered pillows. The first set that we had were really full of the shredded memory foam. If they had been in a larger pillow case, then it could have spread around a little bit, but these were pretty tightly packed. Bobby likes a fluffy pillow and he has been really happy sleeping on the ones that we got; but it was just too full and hurt my neck to sleep on it.
Later, I found a free one from the Amazon Review Club and ordered that. I like it MUCH better ! It not only has less of the shredded memory foam in it, but the cover has a zipper and you can take out some of the memory foam if it has too much. I didn't take any out because it works fine as it is; but it is something that you can do.
It is not only comfortable; but cool also. I have seen some that are supposed to be the therapeutic curved pillows, and I have requested one of those, too; but so far, I haven't gotten one. They only give away a few of each thing, so that people can test them and write reviews; but I can keep asking, and eventually, I will get one to try.
In any case, I do definitely recommend getting the shredded memory foam pillow for a comfortable night's sleep. And it is not necessary to spend the $100 price tag now because they are offering them from more companies and selling them cheaper all of the time.

That is the type of pillow that I was talking about , that I have a request in for, but have not gotten yet. I will keep requesting them until I get one.
Is yours soft, @Chrissy Page ?
I had one before that was supposed to be healthy and had magnets in it; but it was really hard under my head and did not support my head and neck properly at all.
After getting the memory foam pillow that is soft and fits better, then I thought maybe one of these pillows that are supposed to be the best support would aldo work for me if it were the shredded memory foam and softer than the one I used to have.
I like a smaller pillow, and think that if I had one of these shaped ones that was soft and comfortable, that would be what I would like the best.

It's not real soft but it's not real hard either...it's just right. I like it. Got it a few years ago and it's still good.

Can't remember where I got it, was with my daughter so she probably bought it for me but can't remember the store.

@Yvonne Smith - good to hear you are happy with your pillow, bamboo must be good if it keeps memory foam cool
I will never try memory foam again, its just not for me. In the summer it softens too much, as all foam does
We are all different and you've found something that suits you and I agree about the zip, a simple solution and
I prefer pillows with zips. My latest pillow has a zip and 3 inner pads, I have kept all 3 pads intact though.

I don't know what my pillow is but it doesn't change temperatures....living here in Fresno I couldn't stand a hot pillow!!

Actually my pillowcase is my favorite. It came with a set of sheets I bought at Costco once. Love them!

Don't know what material but it's satiny, silky and cool. It came with two pillowcases so I took one to my daughter's because I love it so much....I might even pack it to take to my son's.
