3-day free bingo tournament, 3 complimentary nights, Edgewater Hotel, Laughlin, they gave us a river room on the 26th. floor! Amazing beautiful views, plus, the room is at the very southeast corner of the tower, with TWO windows looking out at right angles! The view eastward, balcony outside door, that's a Jet-Ski in the river! Looking southward, the Colorado Belle Riverboat next to Edgewater; there are two people walking the riverwalk in the small sunlit portion close to Belle. Can you see them? Riverwalk is 1-1/2 miles end-to end; we walk it's entire length back and forth every few days. Same shot at night. Same shot at daybreak. We count ourselves very fortunate to be able to live in a place like this, which, while we are not financially rich, caters to many who are. They come here from around the world, in preference to Las Vegas since it has become rather overbearing. Thanks for viewing my wife's handiwork; she is proud and happy over this experience! Frank

@Krissttina Isobe Thank you so much! Here then are a few more pics! The tiny window at right, very top, was our room! The big balcony door was around the corner from it. A shot from across the river of a big antique and custom car show getting ready for this weekend, about 10 miles south of our stay: (we went down there to partake of their amazing lunch buffet, half-price on Thursdays! Two for $8.99! At least a hundred items available. This place is American-Indian owned and operated. Fort Mohave Tribe, they are called. All around the area, they raise crops of Alfalfa, Cotton, and various Vegetables, hundreds and hundreds of acres cultivated, beautiful and green in the bleak desert. The resort is named "AVI". They have posted on the walls inside, hundreds of pictures, many very early, of scenes of the early days. Back then, Steamboats actually plied the Colorado River from it's Southernmost end down by Yuma, up to Nelson, Nevada, perhaps 300 miles northward, bringing supplies to gold and silver mines there. Such activity began in the late 1800's, ended just around the Great Depression. AVI is now the "new" goldmine, closer to the California towns near the Colorado, Blythe, Indio, Palm Springs(!). "First Stop" on the road to "Riches or Ruins"! An immaculately restored '57 T'bird, asking price $40,000. Rows and rows of cars reminiscent of my teen years; many of them I worked on, back then. Ford's first disastrous "flop": the Edsal. A really good and solid automobile, better Engineering than a Mercury, styling which the public just did not like. Built for three years, '58-'60. This morning, while I attempted to wake up (Ha!), my wife walked over to the Colorado Belle where no long line exists for free morning coffee, and struck up a conversation with this man. He agreed to pose for a pic, no one back home will ever get to see it, my wife's charming ways prevailing. She told me if I acted and looked like this fellow, I would be a "better person"!
