Thanks Holly, it is now the cutest thing I own, LOL!! I don't know if I mentioned it here somewhere, but I plan to get more, comfy stools than those in the pic. And I think I will use the "hard-bottom" stools for plant holders?? Just one idea;)

I'm enjoying watching your progress, @Denise Happyfeet. I absolutely love your view through the big picture window. I would definitely enjoy having my morning coffee/tea there and relaxing. It's wonderful that you get to see both the sunrise and sunsets. I literally dream about having a wrap around balcony up here (instead of just on the backside), so I could see the sunsets, as well as sunrises. I have one little stool like those pictured, and I use it to rest on when I'm working in my tiny kitchen. It's pretty old and worn out, and I might consider giving it a face lift one of these days.

Oh thanks Diane;) I so hoped I could find an apartment with an outside patio/balcony, but this is the one I could afford. I feel so fortunate to have that window on that side now. Lastnight we had a storm, with thunder and lightning and I felt so cozy and safe in my room.

I looked at some cute stools with backs on them. Maybe we can both find something like that too. But you could still fix up that little stool that's been your fave. I'd love to see the before and after shots;) denise

Funny I couldn't remember what color those tiles were, lol;) I was so excited to be getting such a cute piece, that I think I was in shock when they said they didn't want any money for it;)

    Yes, water-based Terry;)

Thank you for all the info, and the link @Terry Page! I will copy this reply and read the link site as well before I go to the store!! If I can finish this project on the headboard, I will have another piece to start. Another cheapo depot laminate-type, TV Stand. But I do like the style, and painting it will make it look a lot better;)

We had a storm last night too, thunder and lightening which is rare here ...think you are at least 6 hrs north or me.

Even Pickles was shaking a little bit, he usually doesn't. I know ...off topic but you know me. :)

    Update:

I just scored a recliner, and little, cool table. I don't have the recliner brought over yet, but I'll get a pic when it arrives;) This little table is cute, and very polished, but the pic doesn't look as good as the table in real life;)

Funny thing was, I had to spend a lot to get my truck registered in California, and knew it would be awhile until I could add to my place. But you just never know;) Both the items were given to me, no charge;)

I was hoping checkers since I don't know chess, but maybe it's time to learn. I guess with checkers you have to have black and red squares come the think of it. Ok, I need to look fer som chess pieces;) and learn the game;)

I know my chair is blue, that's all I know about it, but my landlady is neat and clean so it won't be raggedy I'm sure;)
