I would have to say my health, as well. My whole adult life, I have always tried to get some exercise every day, eat healthy foods, and watch my weight; everything in moderation. Still, I worry about not being able to care for myself as I get older. I certainly do not want to be a burden to my family, nor do I want to end up in a nursing home somewhere. I try not to think or worry “too much” about my future, and try to enjoy each day that is given to me. Because one thing is for sure at this age, I have less time in front of me then behind me.

Man, I'm sorry to hear that...sorry all of her family. As you said, I'm glad I never had to face that myself.

I do worry a bit about solar flares of emp strikes. but lately I have been worrying about osteoperosis. As well as my vibration plate, I have seen that bouncing while standing and watching tv or something is helpful. Bending knees and bouncing in place--feet need not leave the ground. Surprising how tiring it is.

Politics. Thirty years ago, I seldom gave them a thought. Now I worry about what liberal politicians are doing to my children and grandchildren's future.

Some sun watchers are saying that next year may be the year for the next Carrington Event, as the Earth's magnetic field is weakening while solar activity seems to be increasing.

Oh yes! I take all the needed supplements and have taken sugar and alcohol out of the equation long ago. But pain from the leg keeps me from doing even the least compressive exercise. Walking with a cane is done minimally. I have become too sedentary.
I am sure the astronauts got all nutrition possible but still lost bone mass. Sitting and laying around is probably like being in a space capsule.

I think gardening will most likely still be possible, but electricity will be the issue. The grid is like a giant antenna system, and the current induced on that antenna could be massive. Whether all electronics will be taken out is still a question. Certainly anything plugged into the grid will be damaged, but battery-powered stuff and items not being used are still in question as to whether they will be destroyed. Like so many things, the belief is there until it is tested. It was thought that all modern cars would be disabled...until they tested it, and I think only a fraction of the cars went down. Of course, if even 30% of vehicles on a major highway suddenly couldn't go, the traffic jam could be marvelous. I suspect electric cars would be more vulnerable, and certainly the ability to charge them would not exist unless you had a massive fossil-powered generator hat survived.

I have been using youtube. But I still have my amazing library of books in a wooden chest. I actually read items from them, even with electricity. I just went to a rummage sale and bought a large box of taper candles.
I am about to take my electric chain saw our for a bit of fall trimming. I will miss it. Although I have hand saws, I don't have as much umph.

I also worry about this but not so much about the dying part but the living up till then, I got more worried when hubby and I both got sick at the same time this month.
I fought off oing to hospital although a couple of these nights I didn't know if I would live to see daylight.
That got me to really consider the times leading up to death, which I'm sure many want to be less painful as possible.
So much so that I went online to see if visiting nurse care was still available. I think here it was called " Visiting Angels".
One closed down not sure because some the nurses started bringing their kids to the patient's homes. Then I think of assisted living and not sure what kind of get up that would be on fixed income. Nobody wants to leave their homes or give up their lifestyle.

Jake was thinking yesterday came up and said I can increase the height of the van roof.
That way we could have a home away from home and visit family's and keep our privacy too.
Maybe even meet up with others like us.
