Deforestation has contributed substantially to global warming. Also poor farming techniques contribute to desertification. But everyone is looking to solar, wind energy and electric cars with their battery problems. Not the actual solutions that will work. We have a lot of tree deaths happening here. Green ash borers, Dutch elm disease, pines, oak wilt...I am going to try to grow more catalpa trees. The power company took out our best black walnut trees.
I agree, green energy isn't so green, it will actually do more damage than good in the long run. I don't know what the answer is but I do agree we need more jungle and less pavement. Maybe a little of both.
