So that means you can have some Buggy Brickle and take your time eating it? Cool! I believe so, but they're all in Tourist class - back by the hypersonic thrusters.
GAH! Now you little waddlers are coming after ME?!? *comically tries to run, fails miserably, lays an egg, waddles away*
I can't believe SOC people have left you and I in here on our own. Obviously they don't know what kind of damage we can do if we aren't closely monitored
Sorry Denise, I'm off my ipad at night, no exceptions. I get on at 4:00am and by dinner time I've had it. Also, I have decided to avoid the religious threads.
Ok you brats, behave yourselves. When in Rome, and all that .... I've been giving it some more thought, and I think humor is everywhere, if we'll just see it. @Babs Hunt showed a very good representation of natures way of showing us this very thing. Now I don't think God/Creator laughs "at" me/us, that is generally done with at least a bit of malice in it. But I learned a long time ago that you can not teach what you don't know. And, I think we were meant to learn how to find the humor within our own lives, so as not to take ourselves too seriously. If I could not see the humor in the way much of my life has turned out, I wouldn't have gotten very far. Instead, I will look at my situation, and say to myself, "Well ok there now, that was fun", (or not), and I'll look around for another oppertunity or way to deal with whatever. I've learned much this way. Many of us will list a sense of humor high on a list of desired qualities that we wish to see in another, and I personally don't think that is by chance. I know we all rub each other the wrong way sometimes, but a little humor in how we present ourselves and our thoughts go a long way in learning to accept each other's differences. Because @Bobby Cole , and the way he uses his humor, I can set and listen to him tell me about his God/Creator, "and hear him", instead of shutting down.
I think you shared some real wisdom here @Ina I. Wonder. Christians or believers are commanded by Jesus to share His "Good News" but we are not commanded to shove it down others throats, try to scare it into them, or even tell them they have to believe it. To me it is a seed we plant in others hearts only if their heart is open to having that seed planted. Some of us are more gifted with a green thumb in this than others like @Bobby Cole.
