Hello to all, I Recently stumbled onto this forum and decided to join; looks like there's a lot of "life experience wisdom" here, which is really refreshing to read. Well, here's a little about myself: I'm 52 years old and live in Perth Western Australia. I have 4 grown children, and 4 grandchildren. I'm currently out of work having being fired after being in the work force 33 years. I don't consider myself unemployed anymore but rather semi-retired because I work from home in a little business I own. It's a great lifestyle, now that I've adjusted to not being employed. I'm re-married (9 years now) and still very much in-love with my wife. I'm a kickboxing practitioner; started at the ripe old age of 42 . I can't train as vigorously as I used to because it takes a little longer to recover from a training session these days Oh, my wife has just informed that she's ready to go; I'm taking here into town; got to go. Looking forward to getting to know some you. Regards Paul
Welcome! I was placed in a similar situation, laid off from work at age 40. Could not find work, so "roughed it" up in the woods for a year. Best year of my life! We called it our first "retirement". Frank
Hello @Paul Beamon , sounds like things are working out for you. You now have the time to concentrate on your own business venture, and sometimes that is just the incentive we need to push forward. Sounds like you have a nice family that also help to keep you busy. So takes your time and get to know us, and all of us will enjoy getting to know you. Frank is right, your not our only Ozzy.
Hey, Paul... welcome. I hope you'll enjoy your time with us! Jump in anywhere that looks interesting.
