    I'm not so sure about that,Frank.

    I still think that in most places, person-to-person interactions have not changed all that much. The advent of radio, tv and then the internet have plugged too many propaganda conduits into us. I've yet to experience a fraction of a percent of the vitriol and cynicism the talking heads puke forth.

    I still have not decided if overcrowded areas just make people behave differently, or if those areas really impose a fundamental change in nature. Perhaps such a long period of prosperity (no Depression, no war that affected us domestically after The Big One) have spoiled us and cost us our perspective.

    Sounds like a great subject for its own dedicated thread.
