As promised @Shirley Martin a photo of a tiny bit of the 1000’ acres of wheat grown where I live.
The homes in the background are in the famous Greg Norman golf corse

This was a really nice sunny winters day about 17c ( 62 f) then about 2pm a heavy fog came in over the sea and drifted all over our area it got so thick the street lights came on

Thanks, @Kate Ellery . the pictures are great. Everything does look lush and green. Do y'all get that kind of fog often?

I’ve never seen fog drift in like that before it was nice and sunny ,then it turned icy cold when the fog drifted in
I took a few other photos while walking yesterday .,the normally calm bay was really rough due to strong winds

Here are a couple I took yesterday @Shirley Martin this is the beach 5 min walk from us ,think I’ve mentioned we have lots of limestone here ..further down past that bit of land sticking out ..( where you can just see trees ) it’s pure white sand ( that the Greg Norman golf course area ) I’m sure we have all heard of GN

Is the public allowed to visit the beach, Kate?

The golf course land go’s right to the edge of the beach but it’s still a public beach, it about a 3 km walk from home ( the nice white beach )
when the weather is nice in spring I’ll, take a few photos of that part of the beach

Wow! Kate, that's wheat as far as the eye can see. Are there a lot of fields that size?

I’m not sure what size farms are around here but at a rough guess most would be 10.000 ~ 15.000 acres
as it’s a major cereal growing area for the WORLD there are huge silos on the deep sea front in the next town to me
20 km away ...where bulk carriers come I from all over the world to load up with wheat / barley / oats / lintels / peas
I believe all of Sanremo brand pasta grains are grown here the air is clean no pollution

This is named the secret garden ,it’s about a 20 min walk from my home, there are lots of weddings in this tiny garden ( it was obvious there was planned today by the chairs in the garden ) The garden is just a few steps from the beach ( if you look at photos closely you can see the beach where the sky and the beach is almost blended together )
It’s still rather cool here it was13 c about (55f ) but we still walked to the garden.
I know of two people who requested their ashes be scattered here ( they were my neighbours parents )
I think it’s a beautiful little corner of our world .
