We use to have a Hunting, Fishing, WWI-WWII Army/Air Force and a Joy-Stick Flying game. Our old computer really didn't have enough "umf" (speed) to handle some of these games, so, when we got rid of that old computer, done the same with all of the games. A few years ago, the Wii Game went on sale at Best Buy and we bought one. We read excellent reviews about it, including how Assisted Living would buy them for their Recreation Area. One 80 year old lady said "if it weren't for the Wii Game, I'd still have my butt glued to my chair in my room. I got the exercise I so much needed, plus loads of fun." We have NASCAR "Unleashed", that I love to play. Also have Sports, which includes bowling, golf, tennis, ping-pong, etc. Now, if my wife could actually bowl the way she does on the Wii Game, she'd be a Champion and we'd be rich! LOL The Wii Game comes in might handy during winter months, especially here where we live now (NOCO). However, we will play it during a wet/rainy summer day as well. Talk about the word, "exercise", oh yes!!
I occasionally play a card game or puzzle-type game on my tablet. I've never been into the role-playing video game thing though our sons were enthusiasts as teenagers. I have considered a Wii but somehow never bought one.
My wife also likes (loves?) playing her iPhone games, especially Poker. I have the same game on my iPhone, but also have a WWII tank game, but don't play much.
The only game I tend to play a lot is Poker and shock horror for Money. I know in America internet Poker is banned except for three States, but in the UK no restrictions, I can play against most of the rest of the world
Card games, solitaire, almost every day. I found a website that will restrict the deals to only those that are winnable. Russian Solitaire. Current winning streak is 141 just since yesterday. That game is not hard, if it's winnable. Also like a couple of arcade games, dominoes, sometimes with an online partner, sometimes against the computer.
When I go to bed, I will usually read for a while. When I finish reading, I will sometimes play either a Solitaire game or a Mahjong game on my Kindle, but that's about it.
Have solitaire on computer. Tried a game on my phone yesterday. At level 11 it froze so I won't be doing that again. Have tried several games on tablet. Usually quite those when ads become too intrusive or game freezes.
Play a game of solitaire or two on the puter before bed. Will play wordscape or solitaire on my phone if I am waiting for an appointment.
