    Abbey Road Crossing Cam :cool::cool::cool:

    "The street camera is focused primarily on the Zebra Crossing area (from the opposite direction), and depicts a clear view of this frequented street. According to a BBC news report from December 2010, 'The original zebra crossing, where the photograph was taken, was moved several metres for traffic management reasons more than 30 years ago, and no original features remain. The famous Abbey Road zebra crossing was never relocated.' "

    Cradle Song
    Poem by Thomas Dekker (1572 – 1632)

    Golden slumbers kiss your eyes
    Smiles awake you when you rise
    Sleep, pretty wantons, do not cry
    And I will sing a lullaby... (continued)

    A medley of songs at the end of the Abbey Road album, beginning with Golden Slumbers, which was based on the beginning of the Dekker poem. The End is the last song, and technically the last one recorded collectively by all four Beatles.

    There is a button at bottom center of the screen that allows you to capture an image and share it. :) Pity the cam is pointed in the wrong direction. Not much activity, but I still spent a lot of time watching the cars and buses, and bicycles and skateboards today.

    The medley with that little song is probably my favorite audio clip. They keep removing videos of it from YouTube, so it will probably disappear.

    I liked the very early Beatles songs, and a few ballads in the middle years, then lost interest. It seems they went in an strange direction. Or maybe I did. lol

    I thought everyone in Europe drove on the wrong side. Not so in Germany?

    Honest, Tom, I didn't know Germany was different. I've never been to Europe. It must be tricky crossing some borders. An acquired skill we never learned.

    That's okay, Nancy, I just wasn't sure. ;) All countries on the continent including Scandinavia drive on the right side. Just in the UK and Ireland people drive on the left.

    Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey - Paul and Linda McCartney, 1971

    Composed of several unfinished song fragments that McCartney stitched together similar to the medleys from Abbey Road.
