    Hey Susan and all.

    I've got three, actually.

One is mine, where I put up videos that I've made that include vacations, audio books, excursions.
The second is also mine where I am gradually putting up instructional videos for ESL teachers based upon a series of handbooks I am writing (when the day job and life in general affords me the time!).
The third is my work site, which is videos of combine harvesters (that's my day job, importing combine harvesters and selling them to local farmers).

The first one was not meant to make money; rather, it was just a place to share with others (friends, family, even a website I had called "Fragments" that featured some of my writing).
The second is to support a money-making venture (the sales of those handbooks).
The third, well, there are some "produced" videos that I've made and then some awful, amateur videos that my boss insists on putting up that are pretty embarrassing to look at (but then my boss thinks all his clients are stupid and easily fooled and doesn't give a rat's arse about producing anything close to "professional"-- ha, go read me complain about him on another thread!)

I enjoy all three of the channels, though I've simply not got the time to keep them well up-to-date and none of them have gone viral (not even close!). I spend way too much time on producing the videos to put up more than half-a-dozen in a year's time.

    peace,
    revel.

I had one a few years ago on places I'd travel to in Thailand but too many idiots left comments that were not constructive but just insulting not only to me but to the Kingdom as well. "What's wrong with you, that is not "Soi 3 it is Soie 3", "Where are the hot chicks!" and crap like that so before I let myself go crazy I just stopped.

    Here is a couple.

A songtawl is a little mini bus that is very common for transportation. It cost about 30 cents for a long ride.

This is a little mini mart by my home. The guy in sitting at the table is a friend of mine who unfortunately has developed Alzheimer's and now is pretty far gone, but when I could, I always took him with me to different places.

Jorge, thanks for this info. about your YouTube experience. I find this very intriguing and at some point I will work on a channel myself. In the meantime, I will learn from other people's experiences.

Richard, you are obviously a very good and kind man. I especially appreciate your kindness to the man who now has Alzheimer's. I believe every kindness you have extended will be returned to you by our Heavenly Father. May God bless you with hundreds of blessings....even thousands!

Thank you Susan. I just try to do what I say in my sig. Al and I are the same age. Why him and not me, but if I can't be a decent person, there is really no purpose left for my next breath.

No, sadly not. I don't really have time for that. Although I know people that made a lot money through their youtube videos.
If you give in your time and hard work it's easy to success, the key to success with youtube videos is a good idea that will
interest and inspire others, often nowaday problems and solutions to them are really desirable.

I have no video channel on youtube yet but I'm planning. They say that you can earn from your videos on youtube but I still have to hear a first hand account of the earnings. In fact, my husband has uploaded lots of videos on youtube and he has not earned even a single cent yet.

:oops:No not yet because I've no equipment to make videos, but I've been invited by youtube to make a channel. I decided not to though I'd like to someday have a channel when I get equipment to make videos. Right now budget is too tight to buy any kind of equipment to make videos-don't own a smartphone.

I have thought about doing this but I need to get a webcam to get started. I would like to have instruction video's or share photography. I need to look into doing it as it can not be that hard judging from some of the ones youth put up that are so self destructive, which makes me wonder where in the world are these boys & girls parents. At least by some of their video's we won't have to worry about them reproducing. But that is another matter for thought.

I like a lot of the music and blogging type video's that teach things that help others in their lives. I might be able to do something along those lines.
