I read this title of a thread 'Laughlin's Tropicana Train' - as, Laughing Tropical Train

I notice I'm reading things this way a lot lately so am I the above all of a sudden …
or is it just an age thing OR - has seeing the funny side taken hold ……….

No, I think you’ll be alright Patsy. But, since I catch myself doing the same thing and if it really isn’t alright, we’re both in trouble.
I’ve always read fast but lately I find myself skimming more than reading which has it’s drawbacks when certain vowel connections are involved.
If it’s something that is supposed to be important, I simply force myself to read it thoroughly and even re-read it if I get a small nagging feeling that something is amiss.

 

Oh I'm OK reading the posts - its the titles of threads and even in magazines, I seem to be making up
me own titles
