RSS is just a method of following forums, or portions of forums, using an XML format Most major browsers once supported RSS feeds, but I don’t know if that’s the case any longer. I think I remember one of them announcing that it was no longer going to support RSS by default, although that would still be available as an add-on.

The only thing that I use RSS for is as a means of syndication, when I want to stream portions of my forum onto a web site. I can add a few lines of RSS code, and it will automatically pick up the most recent posts from the forum, or I could just have it pick up posts from a particular section of the forum.

I did't release about the RSS feature, which I think could be a nice promotional tool for this forum, if you are subscribed to another site that displays syndicated headlines from a RSS source.

In fact I haven't realize that all authors in the RSS feed share the same email :D
Great way to deal with unwanted email harvesters :)
