As with the last two that he got out of North Korea, they will probably be induced to downplay any role that Trump may have had, or even to attack him verbally.

But that's the way it is, that's the way the game is played. When Obama was president the republicans did the same.

Trump gets extra hate because of his mouth in my opinion...if only he'd have kept off twitter and just stuck with the facts.
He acts like a bully and that's why he gets what he gets....he's an easy target.

Just my opinion....remember I voted for him. :)

Trump reportedly greeted the released prisoners personally at 0200 this morning. Tom, I found it interesting that the neighbors of Iran--Saudi Arabia and Israel--both heartily support Trump's move, while those at a distance who may lose profits are against it. Crissy, Trump's mouth and Twitter definitely get him into trouble, but "they" attack him regardless. Main stream media never attacked Obama, and even the talk radio folks and columnists who did were shouted down as "birthers", racists, or bigots. The Iran deal was terminatable because Obama made an unconstitutional agreement, and couldn't submit it to the Senate as he should have because it was too unpopular and had too many loopholes for Iran to jump through. If he had submitted it to the Senate, it would have been set in stone and could not be terminated.

Politics aside, I'm glad these souls are released. Have to wonder what psychological healing they have ahead.

That's pushing it a little @Martin Alonzo ....he goes on rants and acts like a bully sometimes.

He could just as well tweet his message a little more diplomatically.

Trump is used to being on a big stage, but not quite the stage he is on now. Like the current Pope, he often makes statements before he considers the consequences of what he says, Sometimes what looks like a rant is carefully scripted to upset a group, while other times, he makes a statement or delivers a rant the consequences of which have not been considered. All the rants he was criticized for concerning the "Little Rocket Man" and "My button is bigger than yours" accomplished what they were intended to do--use Kim's own techniques against him. We don't yet know what the end result will be since China is a major player in the drama, and it may all end up with a united Korea under the control of China. In any case, no one has done this before and we do not know what the outcome will be.

I have a feeling Kim has some tricks up his sleeve, he'll never let Trump come out the winner.

I am worried about China more than Kim. I guess they arrive at Andrews at 0200 on Thursday morning. I was 24 hours off. We can only wait and see. At least it isn't thee ol' give 'em everything they want to shut them up.

    Hello,
thanks, things okay. Miss my Mother...she passed this is my first Mother's Day without her. Before she went, I got engaged, but he passed away too. Now I'm an almost widow and orphan. Family worries, but I will find a nice retirement community to live in. I'm okay, just a little sad. Guess my wedding gown will be donated in time, maybe after I go.:p

Oh, @Krissttina Isobe , that is so SAD ! I knew that your mother had died, and the last you had told us here was that you were going to be getting married, which was such wonderful news.
Are you moving from the home where you and your mother were living into a retirement community now ?
Probably, that would be a good place for you to make some new friends, and hopefully be close to shopping and transportation when you do need to go somewhere.
Sending you a big HUG, and prayers for you in your sorrow, for comfort and for our Lord to help you find a home where you can live and enjoy life.

Please make our forum part of your life again, and let us know how you are doing; we miss you here, Krissttina !

Thank you so much. It's been a very difficult few years. My fiance passed away a year before Mother actually. I will be remaining his fiance, love never ends. This Mother's Day, is the first year without my Mother...go g out photos to reminisce. It's said time heals all, but it's not true, sadness will never leave. I'm okay, though, sad. I've pictures to keep me company now.
