I don't think she can be fired, but I understand she has been put "on leave" and her Twitter account has been deleted.
This happened hee in Fresno and everybody is really upset with her. She made her twitter account private..wasn't deleleted. She did cancel an event she had this weekend...she's gotten death threats supposedly. Also, she can be fired even with tenure...it's just not that easy or simple. Also...she wasn't put on leave...she WAS on leave for some other reason this semester. Well I guess if people feel they can say anything they want about our President...then they also feel they have the right to say anything they want about everyone else too. That just seems to be the way the World works now days.

Yes, people have free speech and are entitled to their opinions, however her superiority and arrogance really got to me. And I guess there are personal consequences to what you say.

I watched that video twice to make sure I'm being fair. So, ~~~~~ she hates President Trump. She hates the Bushes. She hates white men. She hates all men. She hates all Americans. She said she is getting paid a lot of money sit around and do nothing but think sh!t. What a cruddy piece of humanity she is. And parents are paying $31,018 or $64,482 per year for their sons and daughters to attend that school?????? I wonder how long until her book will be out?
I think I might have come up with a new solution for the obvious over testing of our right to free speech. God forbid we should ever lose it but the professor in question started me thinking about how much hate and hurt speech has crowded the airwaves recently. Simply put, guns in the wrong hands kill, maim and wound but we are protected by the 2nd amendment. Free speech has the ability to kill, maim, and wound and is protected by the 1st amendment. There are some protections in place in order to keep guns out of the wrong hands but what are the protections when it comes with someone who cannot resist shooting their mouth off over the mike or typing it on the computer or yammering over the phone? Very little if any even though "hate speech" is considered illegal. Hate speech can inflict wounds far deeper than any bullet can and even be at the very root of someone's death especially is someone is mentally vulnerable. I have thought long and hard and I believe the solution might be that a guilty party should have ALL of their electronics taken away from them for a period of time which is decided by a very critical judge say, a 5 year old child. No computer, no microphones and no phones. Stripped bare and made the same as it was when the 1st amendment was ratified. Speak all you want; soap box it in the park, quill and paper or what have you but no more media, no more radio or tv appearances......nothing. Then, if that person is caught with a phone or on a computer, they go to jail for contempt of a kindergartener's judgment.
