:oops:Monday Nov. 30th is Cyber Monday week. Cyber Monday is like a computer shopping of Black Friday. Cyber Monday is a fun way to find great deals on the internet. One place that I'll be shopping on Cyber Monday week is amazon.com. I've had luck in the past at amazon.com, so I'll go shopping on Cyber Monday week at amazon.com. How about you, ready for Cyber Monday Week Nov. 30, 2015? [IMG]

If you hurry, you can get your new Kindle Fire for only $35 on Amazon, @Krissttina Isobe . Then you would have your own tablet to go online with, and Kindles are an awesome little tablet.
They are not even that cheap for the second hand ones on eBay; so this is an awesome bargain, and you do not even have to wait until Monday, since it is already on sale.
The Kindle Fire usually starts around $100; so this is probably one of thebest buys on Amazon right now ! !

Krissttina does not have internet at home, @Ken N Louis . Her mother has a heart condition, and has a pacemaker and is afraid for Krissttina to even have a cell phone, let alone internet wifi.
She does not have a computer either and she can only join us here when she goes to the library and use their computer, which limits the time you can be online.
I have been suggesting to her that if she can get the Kindle (or another inexpensive tablet), then she can go anywhere that has a free wifi connection, have a nice cup of coffee, and be online all she wants to be.

She can download books from the Kindle store, and then when she is home, she can read the books; so it would also be a great way for her to have books to read.
I am pretty sure that she can even download a movie , but she could at least get a subscription to Netflix, and watch movies when she was somewhere with a connection.
Just having that little $35 device will open up a whole new world for her ! !

My daughter, Robin, said that she was looking at the new iPad Pro when she was shopping at the Apple store the other day. (The Apple Store is one of her most favorite places to browse and shop.)
She said that it was pretty awesome, and the size was definitely larger (although it weighs about the same as my old iPad 3 weighs, according to the specs).
She has one of the larger new iPhones, and she said that she really has no need for another iPad for the things she uses it for because she can do everything on the iPhone.

Now that it has been out for a while, people are starting to use it, and some reviews are coming out on youtube. The first ones didn't have a lot of information because they were made with some demo ipads, and before they actually came out on the market in November.

I just watched a good review and demonstration from a lady who is an artist and has one of the new iPad Pro's and the Apple Pencil, and I posted it in another division under the gadgets thread.
What did you like best about it @Chrissy Page ? ?

I liked the size of the screen, Yvonne! Since I watch Netflix on my ipad, the screen size would have been great but its expensive. If you want the cellular, I think you have to buy the 128 GB!

It was also very light in weight even though it was a bigger screen and the keyboard attached in the cover.

I also watch everything (usually Youtube news or tutorials) on my iPad also, @Chrissy Page , and I was also thinking that it would be great to see a movie or other video just a little larger than my iPad.
Since I have the external keyboard, I can't use the iPad for anything except the landscape position, and even then , I always have the keyboard to contend with.
Bobby's iPad is an iPad Air, so it is newer and lighter weight, plus his comes out of the keyboard case. That way, he can remove it when he is not using the keyboard, and it is easier when he is watching movies.

From watching the Apple presentation about the new iPad, it also looked like this one would be much easier to detach from the external keyboard when a person didn't need the keyboard.
Plus, both the external keyboard and the virtual keyboard are a full-size keyboard, just like on a regular computer or laptop, and not the smaller ones that are hard to get your fingers in the right places.

I have a hotspot on my iPhone; so there is no reason that I would need cellular on the iPad, plus, I very seldom take it anywhere anyway.
If I am going to be waiting and reading somewhere, I put the Kindle in my purse and take it along since it is much smaller and lighterweight.
I can use it for reading, and online if I am anywhere with public wifi, which seems to be more and more places all of the time, or I can connect the Kindle to my iPhone hotspot otherwise. So, the iPad is basically only used right here at home with our wifi.

I have the ipad air also, Yvonne. I do like having cellular because I travel a lot and there are many times I'm in LTE.
I have a keyboard for my ipad but I havent even taken it out of the box it came in....Im seldom at a table when using my ipad, so its always touchscreen for me.

In fact, even though I know how to type without looking at the keyboard, after a few years of touch screen when I tried the Ipad Pro and the keyboard I made many many mistakes, lol.

I actually use my iphone 6 when out and about, I've posted on here from it when out with my daughter and shes trying on clothes or something and Im just sitting there...I check my email and facebook etc. I can even read from my kindle app on it if need be.
