It's icy cold here in the South of England currently, but apart from a little flurry of snow we're yet to get the predicted hard winter...so no winter photos yet fro me, but I thought I might start off this thread by showing you pictures I took last year. Please feel free to join in with your own photos, but for the purpose of this thread they must have been taken by you .

I just realized I wont be posting any pics with snow unless we get some on our mountains this year. The past couple years we werent so lucky and we need the snow for the melt off in the spring to help with the drought.
Well it can be sun and beaches, that's ok as long as they're pictures taken of where you live during the winter months. Quite often we have glorious sun and snow simultaneously here.. , and also I have a second home in Southern Spain, and have taken many pictures on the beach during December and January I took this from underneath the little railway bridge in the lane , and made it B&W for dramatic effect LOL>
I'll wait until winter actually gets here. We're having a slow start this year. Yesterday felt like spring.
