How long was he missing? Maybe was having an affair and the woman picked him up and drove him to Sacramento ...then he put his ski clothes back on and called 911. That scenario depends on how long he was gone of course. Maybe he's leading a double life ....many do. I need more info ....video is too long and just repeats itself over and over.
Apparently he remembers riding and sleeping in a big rig style truck, buying an Iphone and also getting a haircut. NY state police are investigating and will have a news conference today... 2-14-2018
So he was gone 5 days! Maybe he was running away from his life in NY but got cold feet and made up a story. Maybe he suffered a concussion...who knows, but I doubt it was an alien abduction.
Granted it is not "normal", but it doesn't quite rise to the star trek conspiracy level. Traveling 2,900 miles in that time period is easily doable in an earthbound transportation vehicle. I think we all remember the runaway bride, that first claimed she had been kidnapped, but later fessed up that she just ran away. This story needs to develop further, imo.
