I think the news coverage 24 hours a day, seven days a week is a bit much. I liked the indepencence of the ole boy who started CNN and 24/7 news and remember watching the first invasion of Iraq live on TV but it has gotten a bit much for my brain to absorb. What do you think?

I don't want to watch tv 24 hrs a day, seven days a week..
I just watch my local nightly news , that's it.
But certainly I do know there are news channels that are on 24-7.. and I agree ,,its abit tooooo much!!
I just choose to not watch any of it. thank goodness for Freedom of Choice!

I used to like CNN Headline News when they actually did the 1/2 hour repeat. Then anyone could catch up on the headlines any time of day. That seems to be long gone.

I have the TV on too much and I have the news on way too much also. I flip between CNN and FOX so I can listen to them battling it out which is just what it has become.

We don't have cable or dish so at our house we don't get the News 24/7 and that suits me just fine as I don't want to watch or hear the News 24/7. I don't even watch the News daily anymore since even that gets to be a bit to much when they are saying the same thing over and over again.

When I feel like seeing what the News has to say I usually go online to my favorite News Sources and if I find some News I am interested in I will do further research on it. The TV News has become a big joke to me.

I never watch news on TV unless I read that something major happened like Vegas, then I'll turn on Fox News.

It's really not as far right conservative as it used to be, also depends what show you're watching. They seem to give you the facts without too much opinion.

Usually I read news online, my favorite is actually the Daily Mail but Ive heard that's not too reliable but so far when it comes to real news they seem to get it first and right most of the time.

I read my local news online in the morning and that's it.
