These parents left their three year-old boy in a corn maze overnight, and didn't realize it until morning. How does that happen? He wasn't actually there overnight, as the corn maze people called the police to come get him. The parents said they noticed he was missing when they woke up the next morning. Unless part of the story is missing, that seems odd.

Many parents are overprotective, never allowing their children - at any age - to learn the skills necessary to survive as an adult, but who doesn't keep track of a three year-old?

I know... He was arrested for abandonment...released on bail...but now police are re searching the house and taken things out. We figure he killed her...smh...so sad.

That is weird, @Ken Anderson . How could anybody forget their child? Don't they tuck him in and tell him goodnight? I predict we will be hearing more about this story.

I went in to say goodnight to my son every night until he started high school and, even then, I didn't miss too many nights. I can't imagine a parent not noticing their three year-old was missing.

"The parents woke up and realized the child was gone after they got home from the corn maze."

The above is a quote from the article. Evidently the parents were sleeping while they went to the corn maze and all the while they were back home too....and when they finally woke up from all of this they realized their child was missing. Guess they were sleep walking through all of it.

More likely they were drunk or stoned. Or both.

Police still have not found the 3 year old girl, that father sent out side a week ago today. However they do know now
one of their autos left the home around 4am that morning. I had, and still assume, she is dead, and figure he did killed her
in a fit of rage- so very sad.

Having raised a couple of teenagers, I can appreciate that there are times when a parent may well lose his or her temper, although killing them might cross the line, but what can a three year-old do that would even warrant anger? It's incomprehensible; in fact, it's not something I even want to understand.
