Sorry Tommy ... I think I met your lady in a bar last night , it didn't mean anything , honestly, it was a mistake , just one night of stupid senseless passion , I know you will understand and we can still be friends ... it was a one night only ... she is just so damned attractive ... and she said she only loves you so don't worry ... this is who I was with ... Isn't she gorgeous ... you lucky man ...
I'm an ex Londoner meself Tommy, don't like saying ex Londoner just 'cos I moved so I'll correct that - I'm a Londoner Tommy !
Welcome to the forum. I might have to start charging you guys for all the extra vowels though; using up my bandwidth.
You really do see this as a problem that you feel you have to mention - often I wouldn't criticise another accent, I like accents If the English accent bothers you so much why not add this fact to the rules, then we can consider whether to join in here
I assumed, perhaps wrongly, that everyone realized I was joking. I think most people recognize it for what it is, though. Technically, that's not an accent. But that's okay. Regardless, those of you who enjoy being offended may do so, by all means, while everyone else can recognize a joke for what it is, whether it is repeated or not. I'm not going to search through the forum to make sure I don't tell the same joke twice.
The reason I wouldn't realise it was a joke, is because you have mentioned the fact many times before So I presumed you were 'really' irritated
