I am so unlucky when it comes to CS I can't recall a time when it was easy to get results, its always a long drawn out drama The latest is about a washable filter for my air purifier, I ordered one, they sent the 'wrong' one. I phoned to say, the one you have sent is grey in colour, too short to fit and it has no fixing holes ...... Reply - we'll send you another ........... Another arrives, same 'wrong one' - I phone again - they say can you upload a photo of 'both' to us ? - Sure I can ......... I do just that and hear nothing. I Email again showing my disdain at their lack of consideration. They eventually Email back, there was no picture on your Email. There was of course, so I send back another ........... I've heard nothing back from them. This is typical of my experiences and I dread the next CS to come Customer dis-service I call it
Oh I can empathise @Patsy Faye . I have the same problems with credit cards. The accounts are in my name..I get a joint card for my o/h.... guess whose card is the only one that works?...yep his... I've contacted the cc company several times explaining the problem, and they need to send me a new card with a new number ...so they do but they send me the card with the same details as the one that doesn't work, instead of sending me a card with the same number as my husband's joint card..the one that works.. I've given up trying now...
Oh I've been 'there' too ! What the hell is wrong ?? They must 'chat' all day or they're having too many fizzy drinks ! Nothing registers does it @Holly Saunders
Another thing that annoys the heck out of me with customer service and it's happened a couple of times...is that say for example I buy a chicken that's well in date, and when I open it up it's clearly off by the rank smell. I contact CS at the store and they say bring it back and we'll refund or exchange... okay..fair enough..annoying as it is..but the supermarket is a 20 mile round trip for me, why do I only get a refund of the price of the chicken and not what it cost me to return it?... It was their problem not mine... !! I've stopped returning things now, and just chuck them in the bin.
OH me tooo...why? why? why? do they have to be in India !!!!!...and I agree they probably look just like that lol
U-oh - I've started something here But boy, do I understand yer angst I could write a book on Customer dis-service and fill it easily I bought a 'swing dress' recently, not over keen on the style but in the picture it looked great on the model who was the same size as meself so I ordered it. Well it was a 'tent' and swamped me, I looked at the picture again and she had to have safety pins all up the back of that dress ! I digress a little ...............
my first VA hospital doc was from India. what a disaster, no English skills. many a time we were talking at the same time. finally got a break, they opened a new out patient clinic real close to me. now I have an American doc. much better.
Oh my, could talk all day about this topic. Basically I have had good CS from most dealings. Sometimes, I find it easier to deal with the robot on line than trying to deal with a person. But that can be very time consuming. When calling about an issue, and you have to repeat the same dang info over and over. Then if not resolved, you must call back, and once again repeat the entire issue again. Just recently had a problem (Firstick) told the guy I dreaded calling back and having to repeat it all over again. He said no problem, I will call you back in about 30 minutes. He did it! I thanked him profusely, as that just does not happen much now days. That is very good CS in my book. A pet peeve of mine... wanting you to take customer service surveys...Hey if your CS is bad, trust me I will let you know- otherwise- it is doable.
