Pet allergies can be a reaction to some harmless proteins the animal gives off. Or there can be allergens in its fur or dander. They might also be in its urine and saliva

It's a filter from a photo editor. I had to play around with the slider settings some but yeah, it came from a photo.

@Bill Boggs , she is a long haired Chihuahua. @Frank Sanoica , she doesn't smile when you try to cut her toenails. She hates that. She turns into a vicious beast. :D

In keeping with the thread title, Chihuahuas are the smallest breed of dog.

Romania is home to almost 60% of Europe’s brown bears. They have become a problem by overtaking mountain cities looking for food.....

Space rocks are properly called 'meteors' when they are blazing through earth's atmosphere, 'meteoroids' when they are still in space, and 'meteorites' if they survive the trip to Earth's surface

Centuries ago, the Spanish used huracan, an indigenous word for evil spirits and weather gods, to name the storms that sank their ships in the Caribbean. Today "hurricane" is one of three names for a rotating tropical storm with winds of at least 74 miles (119 kilometers) an hour. These storms are called hurricanes when they develop over the Atlantic or eastern Pacific Oceans. They are cyclones when they form over the Bay of Bengal and the northern Indian Ocean, and they are typhoons when they develop in the western Pacific.

Grover Cleveland fathered a child, but refused to be a dad. Once the woman gave birth he had baby sent someplace else...and he had the woman committed insane asylum. She was released once they figured out she was not the crazy one.

I've been thinking I might visit Quebec. I want to stop off this side of Montreal and spend a few days in Three Pines. To stay in tune with the title Three pines was established during the war when the British and the Colonies fought the war for independence. Those colonist who agreed with England fled north. When some of them came out of the forest in a large clearing, they stopped, stayed, and built a cabin, leaving three pine trees standing together. The purpose: British citizens fleeing north didn't always know when they were in Canada so the word was spread when you come to three pines, you're safe. Been thinking I'd like to visit this spot off the beaten path.

Bill............... you will have to go to the Eastern Townships for that spot and when you get there, beware of the Inspector Armand Gamache of the QPP (Quebec Provincial Police) who is still looking for someone that is a murderer ..........
Been there and I was cleared after some long sessions of interrogation ...

Knowlton, the picturesque village in theEastern Townships, voted by L'Actualité Magazine as one of the prettiest towns in Quebec, is the commercial and cultural
center of the Town of Brome Lake.

Discover the village that is the inspiration forLouise Penny's "Three Pines"and become part of Inspector Gamache's"Three Pines Friendly"family.

Only 100 km from Montreal, Knowlton is the ideal holiday destination, in both summer and winter with its lake, public beach, marina, golf courses, walking paths and nearby ski hills. The village is well-known for its many boutiques and antique dealers, restaurants and cafes, country inns and B&Bs. Knowlton is also a bilingual village with its residents and business owners as comfortable in English as in French.
