My hubby who had surgery on his right heel in Feb.and was off work until end of April...fell today at work...sprained that foot and his knee.He had to drive his self to the clinic and we only have one car...so our wonderful apt. manager took me to the clinic to get him and car. Anyways long story short...long day and a bit frazzled ....pooey happens

My daughter and her family are flying to Heathrow today for their connection to Rome and their Mediterranean cruise. Wave if you see them, although with the time difference ...probably not and they'll be in the international terminal probably. It's been many years since I've been to Heathrow. Also I'm assuming you're flying to Heathrow... could be the other one...Birmingham??

Yes it's Birmingham, I only use Heathrow for my vacation trips with Lisa, it's a huge airport and forever growing, a mad hectic place
Yes, it was huge when I flew through there many years ago. They only have an hour to make their connection, I'm hoping they do.
Not so good. My new streaming television isn't working today for some reason, and I don't want to mess with it right now so I'm watching DVDs. Well, I'm not really watching them, but they are playing and I look at the screen every now and then. I don't know what's going on the with television, and am just hoping it fixes itself. It boots up, tries to connect, and then reboots, over and over. Oh well. Somewhere, someone is dying and they're probably having a worse day than I am.
Just an update of my time at the Ballpark. Our Jumbotron is shaped like a guitar. Go figure, we are music city! And part of my dinner...
We are so having a great day! TS Cindy who was forecast to give us alot of trouble...decided to go play somewhere else and we are so thankful for this. There will no flooding in our home town this time. We are having some nice wind gusts off and on, some light rain now and then...and some sunshine too. My Honey is loving it because he can't stand to be cooped up inside, and now he doesn't have to be. About the only thing that TS Cindy has brought is some soreness in our old bones...but that is quickly going away too.
Sure @Babs Hunt you had to bring up boiled peanuts. Now I have to call my friend and see if he's doing any! Love them! wife hates the thought of them...
I'm 107 without a heat index, also staying in and doing nothing....it's been hot like this for a few days now and I'm tired of doing nothing.
