Potatoes, Corn, Etc.

We dug one of the potato beds Tuesday. we'll save the other bed to dig when the grandkids come. Yesterday, we got the electric fence around the corn. Beets need to be harvested. I hope to do that soon. Too much to do and too damn old to do it.

 

That's on my mind quite often these days, but I do try.

 

We harvested the beets yesterday. Didn't get many greens but a good crop of beets. Most went in the food processor for making cakes. A couple of quarts were cut bite size. No pickled beets this year because we still have plenty in the pantry.
