Has anyone been watching this show? It's a little like Mad Men, only for computer geeks. In its third season, the series is set in the 1980s, and has to do with the early days of the computer business. I think it helps that you remember what computers were like in those days, but I think the show would be interesting nevertheless.

Season 4 of Halt and Catch Fire was released on Netflix. Since it has been so long since season three, and it skips over several years, I re-watched it beginning with season one, and don't regret it. Perhaps because the subject matter is of a particular interest to me, I love it, but I think anyone would enjoy it, as it is well done.

The computer thing sounds interesting to me, if I can pull myself away from old Monk shows, lol!!

I do get into the documentaries on Youtube, but I don't have Netflix now. Some things I really miss out on because I'm not willing to try them out. This is only on Netflix though I take it:(

Strange. When I began re-watching Halt and Catch Fire from Season one, day before yesterday, it was because Season 4 was out. As you can see by my opening post, just over a year ago, I had already watched through Season 3. However, after re-watching Seasons 1-3, it stopped, and I can see that Season 4 is no longer there, and isn't available from any of the streaming channels that I have. The series is on some other streaming outlets, such as Amazon and Google, but for pay. I know that four seasons have been completed so the only thing that I can think of is that Netflix received it, made it available, but then removed it. Why, I don't know, unless it was embargoed until a future date. Since Season 3 was released a year ago, it is time for a new season. Season 4 will be the last of the season, not because of it being canceled, but because of a designed end, I think.

A little off topic because it's not about your show but shows made for Netflix. When I had bronchitis I started watching Grace and Frankie. It already had two seasons. Although I'm not a Jane Fonda fan, I really liked this series and when I finished binge watching the two seasons it said season 3 would start march 24th...well, I'm done with 13 episodes in season 3....took about 2 days since the episodes are only 30 mins.

Now I'll have to wait at least a year for season 4...totally sucks! Shouldn't binge watch and almost wish you couldn't. :(

In a year, I'll have forgotten what has happened.

Re Netflix, that's good and bad, in my opinion. I like being able to binge-watch the whole season rather than waiting a week for the next episode to come up, but one year is a long time to wait for the next season, which is why I often re-watch them.

Yeah...the good and bad of Netflix.

Guess now I'll be looking for something new to watch....it's not like there aren't enough shows...I just gotta get into them...sometimes if you can get past episode one and two, you find that it's actually good but I tend to give up too early.

I've started so many that others have recommended but couldn't get past the first episode like TWD, Game of Thrones, etc.

Off topic...is it past or passed in this case? Even when I look at the definition I get mixed up, lol.

I did try to word my sentence without using that word but failed. Lol

I looked it up and it doesn't look too difficult as far as languages go, also it was taught in Hungary and China in the schools and Hungary recognizes it as an official language...so says Wikipedia.

I try so hard to stay on topic but this was your fault, @Ken Anderson. :)
