Almost everyone that's seen the photo have commented on my shoes ,which I had made to fit ,they have genuine leather soles for slip on the dance floor ,the tops of the shoes are made from pig skin ..I have a black pair as well Hubs had his made as well, it's hard to buy leather soled shoes to fit for dancing ,most that are sold by speciality shops are to narrow for my feet ,or are to high of heels for me ..although I could do with a higher heel so I can look hubby in the eye ..
@Kate Ellery If he is of a mind at all similar to mine, he has no problem with you being shorter than he! Why? Because my first wife was 2 inches taller than me, statuesque, a true "sight for mens' sore eyes"! I felt blessed, having her. But, I cannot dance. She would have wished it otherwise. Frank
