Good parents try to teach their children everything they need to know in order to go out into the world and make their mark. (forgive the pun) One of the most unpleasant yet ultimately important tasks is to teach them how to do numbers 1 and 2 without the use of a diaper. Yes, potty training!
It would seem that now, our home school training wasn't enough, for along with not knowing any longer who is going to be using the gender specific public restrooms we now must know the politics of "going".

To aid and give some finality to the chore of potty training, UC at Berkeley is offering an accredited course in "the politics of going". Offered as a theater course, the California 18 year old cherubs can spend serious money learning the who, what, when, where and why's of public restroom use including who cleans the dern thing.
One question I do have is why is this course not a designated singular study instead of a theater course? Certainly, when I do my morning chores I am not acting but instead I do take the project rather seriously. Perhaps, I should smile more or sing an aria when donning the throne? dunno...........

I must find out if there is an online course! There MUST be for how else would I finally find the answer to an age old question: To pee, or not to pee.......that is the question.

I am sure that a multitude of people who already have some expertise (such as ourselves) on the matter have given an appropriate oral finish to your sentence.

An extremely graphic view of such a coveted course offered by one of our more esteemed universities. good job.
I just started to wonder, will they also answer the question of how best to display the Charmin: end toward the donniker, or toward the wall?

You know @Bobby Cole this class that's being offered is just another "brainwashing" scheme to get kids to accept the perverted lifestyles and to see them as perfectly normal. I really hate my grandchildren having to grow up with this stuff being shoveled into their minds.

Perhaps brainwashing is a little harsh but in it's infant stages it could be regarded as a near truth.
If our younger generation stays ignorant of real life then they can be led in a manner that coordinates with someone elses beliefs.

I saw an appropriate meme the other day and wish I had it on hand to present here on this forum. It portrayed 2 young men one of which said he was going to go to an occupational school to learn welding. The other, while saying the proposed welder was a loser was going to attend college majoring in the Liberal Arts.
Underneath each individual in the picture was a prospectus involving the salary of each. The welder @50K a year and the college grad @25K a year provided he could find a job using his 75K education.

Now of course, to add insult to injury, a person who spends some 75K for a college education can honestly come out of it saying that he learned a bunch of crap.

Ha, just thought of something else. If my wife asks me what I am writing I can absolutely honestly say that I'm "stirring the pot."

Since I'm finished raising my own children in the faith of believers, my concerns now are for my grandchildren. If they attend Public School they will be "brainwashed" from the moment they enter Public Schools because these schools teach Humanism, God is not allowed in Public School anymore (but everything else is including satan), morals and values are not taught but "untaught" and now our grandchildren will be taught gender neutrality. Meanwhile, parents are so busy working to provide for their Families, and Churches are so busy trying to compromise God and His Word....that our children and grandchildren are going to end up not knowing what to believe anymore....or just going along with the crowd because their faith and beliefs will not be firm enough for them to stand for no matter what the World throws at them!

Even though I know who will win this battle of good and evil in the end....I also know that satan will do his best to take as many souls with him as he can. And according to the Bible...he will be able to do this. I don't want any of my children or grandchildrens' souls to be destroyed by the father of lies who is doing everything he can to brainwash everyone into believing that evil is good, and good is evil.

Before we took our nephew out of public school, he had a teacher who spent some class time explaining to his middle school students how he knew that God did not exist. When we complained, while they acknowledged that perhaps the "lesson" wasn't appropriate, it didn't violate school policies because a discussion of why God didn't exist was secular, and therefore allowable. Any discussion to the contrary would have been religious, and thus not allowable.

Yes, a part of the agenda is to teach kids that sexual perversion is okay, and that it is silly to believe in God, but the larger agenda is to teach them that they cannot trust what they are told by their parents, and that there are no moral absolutes. This is also the reason why the public school system has been expanded to take up more and more of the child's time and attention, from school meals to after-school programs, sports programs, etc. I don't know about other places, but here a high school student has to choose between church and football because mandatory football practices are scheduled on Sundays.
