This is a subject that has been intimated in news bias but has got to be an issue on its own. The biggest producers of fake news now want to blame everyone else of putting out fake news. When CNN comes out and says it is illegal for you to read Wikileaks and they are the only ones to read and report on it. I think it is up to the person to figure if it is fake and not give a group that has a record of fake news telling us what is true. ABC News Fakes Crime Scene for Story
There is no doubt now, or even has been any doubt that fake news is a media stream gotcha. Even on this forum, when I look back at the posts since Ken opened up shop, there are numerous complaints about news that cannot be trusted. Bottom line is that "radically enhanced" media script is what it is and nothing thus far has been done about it either by the broadcasters themselves nor on the federal / state level so pray tell, what is to be done to those who push the garbage upon us? If we allow the FCC to handle the problem with some sort of censorship then we allow a couple of humans to decide what is true and false which always leads to a corrupt or mismanaged situation depending upon personal bias. The other part of that is we wind up with something akin to TAAS during the cold war. Further, how far does the 1st amendment apply to outright lies by the media? Dunno, but hoping somebody out there has some good ideas on the matter.

An excellent study @Ken Anderson. The link you have jammed up but I found it on youtube and it played just fine. Narrative is an important aspect and I hope others enjoy watching it as much as I did. Now, one other side to the news is some of the stuff I sometimes get on FB. Some good and some not so much. One site I have been enjoying (when it comes around) is a site called, "news that isn't pushed". It's well studied, presented in a down to earth manner and outstanding in content. It's put out by a husband and wife team and I would hope that everyone on this forum gets a chance to look some of the articles over. Let me see.........the husband and wife team's name is uh....yeah......something like Michelle and Ken! Funny, they even have the same last name as yours!
There has been a consistent censorship of the internet I have found news stories and when you go back it shows up a error 404 or some other error code. There has been many alterative medical websites that either have been taken over or just disappeared. Or you might get a sign from your anti-virus that it is an unsafe site and they prevent you from going there. Who is this unseen person who makes judgements on what you see. The media will run with something saying so and so did this we got it from an unconfirmed source. If it is unconfirmed than don’t print it. Or we got this from a CIA,FBI. source who wants to be anonyms. Then don’t print it. The CIA gets billions of dollars to make fake terrorist video that the MSM put out as fact. Do you own fact checking and be careful who you use as a true source some of these so called fact checkers are government funded.
Who'd be stupid enough to think Donald Trump doesn't know what a 747 costs. What gets me is the stupidity of these reports, and worse, people that believe them. NBC, you've come a long way baby, since the days of the colorful peacock, you've come a long way down to the skids.
The whole thing with the "left" has been to take all their dirty deeds, and create a FAKE "right" that doesn't even exist. To know exactly who and what the "left" does, all we have to do is listen, and read what they say about the "right". They could take all their accusations, and sign at the bottom next to: We, the "right" confess to all of the above".
Yes Denise, Trump does know the cost of a 747 and decided to outfit a 757 for his own transportation. Technically, although Trump doesn't have a lot of the bells and whistles that is required to fly the pres around, he does own a better and more up to date jet than air force one.
Again, I enjoyed the video/commentary @Ken Anderson. One side of the fake news is obviously unresearched news which by all standards of today's media is good and proper news. If the public can't be sucked in then it isn't worthy to be in print no matter the cost involving reality. One such "suck in" is a little thing called the popular vote in a presidential election. The media is all ablaze over who actually has taken the popular vote nation wide when in fact it makes little or no difference. Each state makes it's own rules regarding a citizen's rights in a presidential election but no where, no where and may I write it again, no where does it say in the constitution of the United States of America that John Q. Citizen has the right to vote in a presidential election. Making the public (who do little or no research) believe that somehow the popular vote makes a big difference in the grand scheme of things is erroneous. Now, folks in the news are all aflutter and quoting and loving A. Hamilton and somehow correlating the Federalist Papers with the Constitution. Sorry, there is no news there and so much so that those quoting the Federalist Papers haven't done their research because it was the very writer of those papers that birthed the Electoral College. There have even been quotes from "The View" that came from the broadway play and were not actual quotes from Hamilton himself. I am not sure which one is weirder: People who report crap or people who believe it. Sometimes I would much rather read: "African woman gives birth to lizard" than some of the stuff that is sanctioned by major news broadcaster companies.

Comments are disabled so they do not want to know your input solo theirs kind of like a one sided interview.
