I was looking online for small springform pans yesterday, and I stumbled upon this site. I'd never heard of it before, and wasn't sure it was legitimate, so I glanced at it and then moved on. I did a little search just now though, and found out that it's based in Maine, and in addition to their site, they also sell on Amazon. The prices are very low, and the quality seems good. Has anyone here shopped the site or purchased from the company on Amazon? I'm going to keep it in mind for my future kitchen-related purchases.
This sounds like a worthy site to check out. I like to find sites that sell supplies for less. It seems like in terms of cooking supplies and equipment you can pay as much or as little for the equipment as you want to. I only know about Pampered Chef which used to do catalog sales and parties. THey were kind of on the high end. One thing I am looking for is a new pastry brush, I would love to find another one, as mine is totally shot.
I could also use another pastry brush. I like having a few of each tool like that, so I can use one for sweets and the other for savory. I have a few Pampered Chef items. My sister knew someone who sold it back in the day, and I ended up purchasing things from the catalogues I'd see at her house. I sold one that I hadn't ended up using a while back on a Facebook group. It was sold and picked up within an hour (maximum) of when I listed it. It was sealed in plastic, and that was probably what clinched the sale. So, if you have any new, unused Pampered Chef items, apparently there could be a market for them. I really like kitchen implements and appliances, and so do my mom and sister, so I like to keep up with sites like this one, for my own needs, as well as for gifts.
I bought a few of the shaped pans for bread making on there, and got a great deal. The items cost a lot when first purchased via the catalogues or parties, and so I'm sure I lost a little money when i sold the pan recently, but that's o.k. If I didn't use in over all of those years, I probably never would have. The way I bake and cook has changed now that it's just me here, so I don't get fancy enough to need those types of pans. If I ever stumble upon any at garage or estate sales though, I'll snap them up and sell on eBay or elsewhere.
One thing in pastry brushes is now they have the brushes that are made of some kind of material some synethetic that looks like rubber. I bet those are good forever. I have seen them in very vibrant colors. The brush I have looks like it has been through the mill and back again. I would get one on Amazon, but it looks like I am going to have to get another electric toothbrush. I haven't been getting the certificates as fast as I used to, but no doubt I will get a couple this month.
