Those are great pics and I'm sure the videos are very clear too. Do you know that my husband's dream is to own a Gopro camera? The resolution is so good that Gopro is being used in the movies to capture action scenes especially underwater shots. In December of last year, we were in the mall and my husband was intently checking on the specs of the Gopro. He said that it's a professional camera, so small but so expensive with the low end costing 21k pesos (around $500). I handed him my credit card, a gesture for him to buy but he declined. And what is the problem? Our home computer is an old one and it may not be able to handle the uploading of the Gopro camera. So that means we have to buy a new computer first before buying a Gopro.
That's too bad. I just looked up the price and here I think it says it's $349. This is his second one, don't know why He wanted another one but maybe because the second generation was better. He has a lot of accessories for it like a long stick and who knows what else. But he does make some cool videos, along with music and he enjoys it.
Here is a video he made for Spanish class last year. They had to do a demonstration in Spanish. He did making a goofy sandwich. That's my daughters house where I always visit. Going again monday to watch this knucklehead and his 12 yr old brother.
Go Pro is what my grandsons use, also, and my son has one as well. They all like theirs. I was really happy because I have been finding the accessory kits for Go Pro cameras in the Amazon Review Trader, and getting them for under $5. My son, Tony said that the box that I sent up for him was just stuffed with all kinds of accessories, so I am watching for camera things now that I can get cheap or free and send to them. Robin has a Canon 6D, so there are not so many good accessories for that as for the Go Pro ones. The pictures you posted from your grandson are beautiful, @Chrissy Page ! ! Now I can see why they have the floating handles for them, so you can do the half-in, half-out of water pictures. The underwater ones are just awesome ! ! I would love to be able to swim and take pictures like that .
Glad you can get those things on Amazon for a good price, Yvonne. Maybe that's motivation enough to get me doing it. Had nothing I really wanted but getting things for my grandson like accessories for his GoPro would be appreciated. I wondered how the half in-half out shots were done, lol.
Thanks Kate, and funny thing is that his 12 yr old brother is very fair skinned with blue eyes and blonde hair. Yes, they have the same father, lol.
