Allison, I can see your posts in the forum page. I think that probably the new posts part just has not updated it yet. Can you not see your posts when you look on the forum page ? And.....Welcome to the Forum ! !
Thanks for the welcome Yvonne. I ran across this forum by accident, thought I would post here. I know they show up where I post them, but they don't show in New Posts........it has been over 1/2 hr since I posted. They should be on there by now shouldn't they?
I seldom use that feature; so I have no idea how soon they are supposed to show up, Allison. However, I see that at least one of your posts is now on the new post list; so I imagine the rest will get there soon,too. If they do not show up, then you can PM Admin, and Ken can find out what is wrong. He is always right on top of things; but has just lost his daughter and is having a hard time right now.
Welcome to the forum. As for new posts showing up, I found this thread through "New Posts." One problem might be that "New Posts" will only show you posts that are new since you were last in the thread, so if you were the last one to post there, it wouldn't show up, since it's not new to you. After you click on "New Posts," there will be an option for "Recent Posts" to the right of the page. You should find it there.
I don't show up in "New Posts" either…maybe it's a new-member thing. But, Ken, I tried your suggestion to click on "Recent" to the right of the page and that worked for me. I still haven't figured out how to PM. I only see "start a conversation".
I mainly just go to the top right and click on my name. Under there, you can click on 'Your Content' to find your posts.
"New Posts" doesn't mean posts that were made in the last x number of minutes or anything like that. It means posts that were made since you last viewed the thread. Your own posts are not going to show up under "New Posts," because once you have completed the post, it is displayed on your screen. Once you have clicked "New Posts" you will see an option, to the right of the screen, for "Recent Posts" and that is the one that will show posts from the most recently made on down, including your own, and whether or not you have already viewed them.
